Alpha Kappa Alpha

 Greetings

Become a Part of History – Learn Insider Secrets of Becoming a Top Leader in your Community, the Sorority, and your Job!

You’ve made the commitment to serve! Accordingly, Alpha Kappa Alpha has always understood our responsibility in equipping you to honor that commitment.

In the early years, an Undergraduate Leadership School was established to review Alpha Kappa Alpha ideals and organizational structure. The early school also focused on the dynamics of group leadership. Because of popular demand, the Sorority later opened the school to both undergraduates and graduates. Classes were expanded to include Parliamentary Procedures, Sorority Programs, Bookkeeping, Communications and Human Relations.

In 1977, the Leadership Conference went "International” when members from all parts of the country gathered in Toronto, Canada for an innovative and exciting two-day session of leadership workshops. Since that time, the enlightening biennial conferences have continued to be a popular event for aspiring leaders.

On July 18, 2013, we are once again converging on Canada with the goal of building a cadre of leaders who are ready for the mission at hand – service to all mankind!

Don’t miss your opportunity to transform into an inspiring, empowering, and effective leader who is ready to provide timeless service to the Sorority, your community, and your profession!
